Performanceįor camera and photography, its new high-resolution depth engine gives a 3X boost in depth-mapping performance, which generates about 24fps visual bokeh previews while also saving 43mA per second with up to 48MP AI Snapshot for facial and scene detection, 32MP at 30fps with ZSD or 16MP at 90fps. It also houses support for 20:9 displays at Full HD+ resolution that allow users to enjoy the most beautiful and modern smartphone designs with full fascia coverage. When compared to the GPU on the prior P60 chip, the faster clock speeds generate up to 13% more performance. Mediatek’s P70 chip incorporates an impressive Arm Mali-G72 class GPU and 900MHz GPU frequency. This, however, can’t be compared to the prowess on the Helio P90. The chipset harnesses eight CPU cores – four Cortex-A53 little cores operating at up to 2.0 GHz and four Cortex-A73 cores operating at up to 2.1 Ghz, coupled with up to 8GB supports of dual-channel LPDDR4X-3600 memory. The P70 chip is a 64-bit ARM based SoC and is fabricated on Taiwanese manufacturer TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process technology which is the same as what is found on Helio P60 chip and according to Mediatek, it offers up to 15% lower power than other 14nm-class products. It is built on the P60’s global success and critically acclaimed mix of class-leading hardware to provide even better experience for users. The mid-range chip was introduced in late 2018 as a successor to the Helio P60. ![]() MediaTek Helio P70 SoC gives brands the ability to build powerful devices with great diversity.
